The Kiddie Cosmos 2-4 age groups are “parent and me” style program offers a unique opportunity for children, ages 2 to 4 years old. The goal is to have fun, build motor skills, increase focus, and instill confidence all while becoming comfortable with a soccer ball at their feet. Summer practices will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays starting @ 5:30pm. Parents can choose Saturday mornings at J.S. Clark BREC Park for only 2-4 Age group.

1. When and Where sessions will be held? All sessions on Wednesdays will be held at J.S. Clark BREC Park and Jefferson St. BREC Park soccer session will be held on Tuesdays ( Tuesdays or Wednesdays)
2. How are the sessions structured? All sessions for 2 and 4-year-old sessions are 45-minutes long, begin with a non-ball warm-up, followed by an introduction of our “Kiddie Cosmos” soccer ball, warm up with a ball (including an introduction to a skill), and end with 1 to 2 fun games.The 4-year-old sessions are 1 hour long, begin the same way as the younger groups, but end with a short scrimmage.
3. What is included in registration fee? The registration fee includes 6-8 sessions (varies by season) led by a trained coach, a Kiddie Cosmos shirt.
4. What does your child wear to practice sessions? All ages need to wear athletic shorts or pants, a t-shirt (each registered child will receive a Kiddie Cosmos shirt to wear), and athletic shoes or soccer cleats. The 4- 8year-olds will need shin guards and long athletic socks.
5. What size ball does your child need? A size 3 Soccer Ball is standard for this age.
6. How much does the parent need to participate in each session? This is a parent-and-me style program, so please plan to join your child in the activities. We ask that you be as involved or not involved as your individual child needs you to be. Some children prefer their parents just to watch from the "sideline", while others do better with their parents at their side.
